Selective Service
Men who register with the Selective Service remain eligible for important programs and benefits linked to registration, including student loans and grants for college, employment by the Federal government and many other state programs, and vocational job training.  The fastest and easiest way for 17 and 18 year old men to register and comply with the law is to register on the Selective Service System’s web site at www.sss.gov .  If you do not have access to the web, see the counselor for a Selective Service Registration card.
