Dear Students and Parents
This year Doniphan West is offering students
the opportunity to
complete the textbook portion of Drivers Education in a
classroom
setting as well as over
the internet.
Several days have been scheduled
for the months of March and
April so students can work on the classroom part of
the Drivers Ed.
class and be ready for behind the wheel instruction.
Students should
attend one night of each
session A and Session B in
addition to
completing some homework
assignments.If the students have date
conflicts, they can still
complete the assignments
over the
internet
and do their driving once the
bookwork is
done.
If a student wants to legally drive on a
restricted license at the age of
15, they need to have their learners permit for a
minimum of six
months, 25 hours of practice with parts (l0 of these at night),
and
complete a Drivers Ed. Course.
Doniphan West Schools pay for the Drivers
Education class for
Doniphan West students.
