Mr. Sailors is a graduate of Pittsburg State University and Baker University. He was born and raised in Fort Scott, KS and has ten years of experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Mr. Sailors is married with two children who attend Highland Grade School.

Mrs. Gundersen has been in the field of education for seventeen years. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and her master's degree from Peru State in Nebraska. She has completed additional graduate hours from Emporia State University in Kansas. Originally from Nebraska, Mrs. Gundersen and her family moved to Kansas in 1989. Her husband teaches and coaches in the Hiawatha school district. They have two girls; Megan who is married and living in St. Joseph, MO, and Amanda, a junior in high school. Mrs. Gundersen enjoys all sports, reading, and spending time with her family.
