Doniphan West Appreciates Board Service.
During the month of January, Doniphan West Schools join other school districts throughout the state of Kansas to recognize the important contribution school board members make to their communities as it honors and celebrates the work of the Doniphan West Schools USD 111 Board of Education.
Doniphan West students, staff and patrons appreciate the work of our board members throughout the whole year. They are dedicated individuals who are committed to the continuing success of our school district and students. They have worked to improve the Doniphan West facilities and incorporate new technology to keep our enhanced curriculum for all Doniphan West students. Thank you for the time and dedication you have taken for our students.
The members of the Doniphan West Schools USD 111 Board of Education and their years of service as a board member in USD 111 and previous consolidated districts are:
• Doug Johnson, President - 17 years of service
• Scott Twombly, Vice President - 11 years of service
• Thomas Albers, Member – 3 years of service
• Gary Dorrell, Member - 1 year of service
• Brad Gilmore, Member - 13 years of service
• John Whetstine, Member - 1 year of service
• Galen Weiland, Member - 9 years of service
