Doniphan West Middle School Hosts Mini-Relay for Life

The Doniphan West Middle School students recently participated in a mini-Relay for Life. The Relay provided many different activities including lanterns, relays, demonstrations, and a balloon release. All Elementary and Middle School students also participated in a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society the week prior to the Relay. We raised a total of $608.02 in donations to the American Cancer Society, thanks to the efforts of all participating students and community members. The fourth grade class won the fundraiser competition, due to a cake raffle at the Troy/Doniphan West MS Girls basketball game. We are so thankful to have such awareness and drive in our students to help others and causes that affect so many people struggling with cancer and other needs.
