Driver Education

The Doniphan West USD 111 School district is working to provide driver’s education this summer to qualified students. Students will take the written portion of Driver’s Education at the Northeast Kansas located in Atchison, Kansas on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. The school will provide transportation for students. A bus will leave Doniphan West High School promptly at 7:15 a.m. and travel to the south campus (Doniphan West Middle School) and then leave there at 7:30 a.m. to travel to Atchison. Lunch will be provided to students. If you have students that have special dietary needs please make arrangements to provide them with a meal. They should return to south campus at approximately 4:30 p.m. and north campus at 4:45 p.m. Driving times will be arranged by the Northeast Kansas Driving School after the class is completed.
Cost is $50 payable to USD 111. Please have all payments sent to the USD 111 District Office which is located at the Doniphan West Primary School at 202 W. Illinois; Highland, KS 66035. Please call Jan at Doniphan West USD 111 District office at 785-442-3671 to sign up for Driver’s Education.
Students must be 14 to drive the driving portion. Some students will turn 14 in August. Those that do turn 14 later may take the written portion and then arrange for the driving portion after their birthday.
