Primary School Box Tops Party

The Doniphan West Primary School finished off our Box Tops push for February with almost 2,000 box tops. Every grade participated with Ms. Fritch's class winning the individual class party. However, we did compete with the elementary and middle school this time and which ever school won had to provide an all school party for the other. Well........the primary school won by more than over 500 box tops! We enjoyed a Racing Day in the gym! The teachers picked out a racing duck and had to use straws to blow their duck down the water. Who knew the teachers were so competitive. Ms. Fritch and Mrs. Chartier won both of those competitions and were able to sit out while the other teachers acted out how their own ducks were dressed! The kids enjoyed gunny sack races, scooter races, 3-legged races and ball hopping races. Each class received prizes when their class won a race. The students and teacher all had so much fun! Even though our February push is over don't stop collecting those box tops and sending to school with your child. We are still working towards our 5,000 goal for the year. If we reach it, Mr. Bollinger will sit in a dunk tank during our play day.
