STUCO 2009

This year is our first year doing STUCO at Doniphan West Middle
School. Samantha Albers is the President and Brandon Caudle is the
Vice President. Allysen Owens and Carla Calhue are the treasurers.
The 8th grade Representatives are Meghan Larson, Abbi Ellis, Scotti
Twombly and Luke Rush. The 7th grade Representatives are Kayla
Cook, Regan Gibson and Tynan Bollinger. The 6th grade
Representatives are Lane Spiker, Austin Taylor and Aubree Robinson.
The STUCO has sponsored 4 events. The first event the STUCO
sponsored was Red Ribbon Week. The students decorated the classroom
doors with an ongoing competition for prizes and provided a Spirit
Week. The STUCO members also put together a dance for all the kids
from grades 6th though 8th. Another activity STUCO decided on was
doing a fundraiser for cancer. For the fundraiser all students
could bring money and donate it to one of the staff members. The
top three staff members with the most money would get a pie in the
face. The was a funny activity and the money went to a good
cause!
