Interesting Facts About Me!

I have been a kindergarten teacher at Midway Elementary School for twelve years now. I believe all children are capable of learning and find that even after teaching for twelve years, I am also still learning through my students. In order for learning to be become successful and reach its maximum potential several elements need to take place: good communication between the home and school, discover it is okay to have fun while learning, teaching must be differentiated using multiple intelligences, and consistent attendance is a must.

I was born in Santa Ana, California, lived in Sumatra, Indonesia, Mandeville, Louisiana, Montecito, California, and settled in Kansas.

I have two wonderful daughters; one is a junior at K-State and the other a sophomore at Doniphan West High School. Such joys in my life!
