Biographical Information Mrs. Cluck graduated from Highland Community College in December of 1994 and then went on to Benedictine College and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in December of 1996. She received her Masters Degree from Baker University in December of 2006. She taught at Hiawatha Elementary as a 4th Grade paraprofessional for one year, Highland Elementary for two years as a Title I teacher/paraprofessional, and then came to Midway Elementary where she is beginning her 8th year of teaching 3rd grade. The past two years have also included a 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade rotation of math, science, and social studies where she has been teaching math to all three grades. She has had several substituting experiences in all levels, K-12. Mrs. Cluck has also been an assistant girl’s volleyball and basketball coach at the junior high level and an assistant coach for girl’s basketball at the high school level. Mrs. Cluck has continued to broaden her knowledge in all areas of education throughout the years by attending various workshops and professional development in-services that have been provided by the district. These programs include research based, best practices for teaching reading/language arts, mathematics, classroom management, effective discipline, and the latest trends in technology use in the classroom. She wants to keep communication open between her, the students, and their parents.
