First grade students enjoy the Cat in the Hat Cafe.

Read Across America

Mrs. Schmitz, the Highland Elementary librarian, helped students celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss's birthday by setting up a Cat in the Hat Cafe.  Fifth grade students had the responsibility of being servers at the cafe.  Students ordered Dr. Seuss books from the menu while enjoying refreshments.  Click on the link below to view some pictures.
